Chairman Delegation Committee Islamabad Estate Agents Association Chaudhry Mazhar, while welcoming the reduction in taxes for the real estate sector in the federal budget, has said that the government should use these measures effectively to promote domestic and foreign investment. The reduction in taxes on property transactions and the abolition of some taxes have created expectations of positive activities in the real estate market, which will restore investor confidence. He said that overseas Pakistanis should be provided with safe and attractive investment opportunities, the digital system should be made more transparent and unnecessary bureaucratic hurdles should be eliminated so that investors can invest with confidence. He expressed the hope that the government would ensure timely and complete implementation of budget measures related to the real estate sector so that their benefits could reach the common citizens and the national economy.
